Does your church qualify for £7,500 a month in free Google ads?
Google gives eligible charities up to £7,500 every month in free search advertising. Most UK churches qualify, and almost none use it. Answer three quick questions to find out.
1. Is your church a registered charity (or an excepted/exempt charity) in the UK?
2. Do you have a working website with its own domain (not just a Facebook page)?
3. Are you a school, hospital, or government body? (These are the main exclusions.)
Good news, your church very likely qualifies
Based on your answers, your church looks eligible for the Google Ad Grant, up to £7,500 every month in free Google search advertising. That means when someone in your area searches "church near me", a toddler group, or someone to pray with, your church can be what they find, funded entirely by Google.
You can apply yourself at google.com/nonprofits. The setup is a little fiddly and there are rules to keep the account active, but the reach is real and it costs nothing.

A couple of your answers were "not sure", which is completely normal. Most churches are registered charities and have (or can easily get) a working website, so there's a good chance you're eligible.

- Your charity status: look up your church on the Charity Commission register, or ask your treasurer.
- Your website: it needs its own domain and to load securely.
